This policy explains what personal data we handle when you visit apexoptimize.com or email us, why we handle it, and what rights you have. The short version: we collect very little, we set no cookies and we run no advertising.

Who we are

This website is run by Apex Optimize, operating from Tel Aviv, Israel. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at contact@apexoptimize.com.

What we collect

Three things involve your data:

  • Server logs. When you load a page, our hosting provider records your IP address, your browser’s user agent, the URL you requested and the time of the request. We use this to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix faults.
  • Performance data. We use Vercel Speed Insights to see how quickly pages load. It records anonymous, aggregated data: the page route, device type, browser, country and load metrics. It uses no cookies, does no cross-site tracking and is not used for advertising.
  • Emails you send us. If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it only to reply and to manage your enquiry.

There are no user accounts, payments, newsletter or comments on this site, and no form on it sends data to a server.

The contact page

The briefing composer on our contact page runs entirely in your browser. It turns what you type into a ready-made email (a mailto: link) and opens your own email app. Nothing you type there reaches us until you press send in your email program. If you close the page without sending, we never see it.

Cookies and trackers

This site sets no cookies and uses no local storage. It has no analytics or advertising trackers, no ad networks and no embedded third-party media. Fonts are hosted on the site itself, so your browser does not contact a font provider. That is why there is no cookie banner.

Why we use your data

We use the data above to run and secure the site, to see how well it performs and to answer people who contact us. Where the GDPR applies, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in doing those things. We do not use your data for advertising.

Who else handles your data

Two providers process data on our behalf:

We do not give your data to anyone else.

Transfers outside your country

Vercel and Google are US companies, so your data may be processed outside the country where you live, for example in the United States. Their privacy policies, linked above, explain how they handle this.

How long we keep data

We keep enquiry emails only as long as we need them to reply and manage the enquiry. Server logs and performance data are kept by Vercel under its own retention practices.

Your rights

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you (access);
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data deleted;
  • object to how we use your data;
  • complain to the data protection supervisory authority in your country.

To use any of these rights, email contact@apexoptimize.com. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act on a request. If you live elsewhere, local law may give you similar rights. Write to us and we will handle your request as that law requires.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes to this policy

When we make a substantive change, we update this page and the date at the top. Use of the site is also covered by our Terms & Conditions.
