Q:How do I convert Markdown to Word?
Paste your Markdown into the left box, check the preview, then click Download .docx. The file is a standard Word document and opens in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, LibreOffice and Pages.
Q:Does it keep headings and tables?
Yes. H1 to H6 become Word’s built-in Heading 1 to 6 styles, so the navigation pane and automatic table of contents work. Tables keep a bold header row and column alignment.
Q:What happens to images in Markdown?
Images are not embedded. Each image becomes a link with its alt text. Add the pictures in Word after you export.
Q:Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. The .docx file is generated in your browser and your text is never sent to a server. The tool is free, with no ads and no sign-up.
Q:How do I paste Markdown into Google Docs?
Click Copy for Word, open your Google Doc and paste with Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on Mac). Copy for Word copies the formatted text, not raw Markdown. Or download the .docx and open it in Google Docs.
